So my wife and I have decided we have gained too much weight since marriage. I myself have gained about 20-ish lbs. needless to say, that's unacceptable. This morning we got up early and did some Dance Dance Revolution, I curled some weights, we did situps and ate some oatmeal for Breakfast! We also read the bible and prayed. I think both of us are trying to get set for life. I had a meeting with Wendell yesterday about my kidney stone, and we talked about exercise and diet, he said you have to make it part of your life, it's you just do it occasionally you'll stop. I've been thinking about that lately before he said anything, so it kinda hit home. I'm trying to make several things part of my daily life: exercise, reading the Bible, diet. I guess I'm realizing I don't put much effort into life, and I hate when people do that. So I'm turning a new leaf and changing. And I really hope I stick with it. Now at least I have a partner to hold me accountable. Saying that; I love my wife, she's so awesome!
In other news, we're getting out cat today I think... A local family has some that I'm gonna go check out. The one they have for us is black and white, which I'm not so excited about, we want a grayish coloured one, so maybe some other time. Well back to work for me!

Stoned
Early early thursday morning, around 12 o'clock to be exact, I woke up with a familiar sharp pain in my lower stomach... At first it almost feels like you REALLY need to pee, then, when nothing comes out you know the worst is true. Kidney Stones...
Yup, I had my wife drive me to the ER that morning, and once there was given tests and good pain meds.... Oxycodone. I couldn't stay awake, I felt bad that Cathy had to sit and watch me sleep, and just wait until it passed. It actually didn't pass until later that day, after I was home. I slept most of the day away and I'm still kinda sore even today. But that is just some crappy uncomfortable pain.
In other news, Obed and James bought another guitar for my xbox 360, so we shred some hot licks last night. It's pretty fun. They also picked up Guitar Hero 2, so the track list just doubled. That game is so much fun. Well, that's all for now... Oh... I'm going to Wisconsin in a couple weeks, gonna have Christmas with the family.

Hangover day
Happy Hangover day everyone! Hope your head feels fine... lol...
So me and a few friends played Call of Duty 4, Halo 3 and Guitar Hero 3 late into the night. We didn't hit morning though as most of us went home to be with our spouses/families... we had fun, we killed each other a lot... I'm pretty tired after so much caffeine, my system is running out.
This is going to be a good year I think, this was my first new years with my wife, so obviously this year will be different than any before. I've just been really happy lately, I love my wife and life's been going so good for us. There are always hiccups in life, things that could stress me out and freak me out, but God's in control, and I know that. Have a great day! And take some aspirin!

Ah the day of... Alot of times we spend so much energy into anticipating an event, that when it comes we are disappointed how it turned out, or have no energy to enjoy the moment when it is here. That's just something I've been thinking lately with Christmas just being over. I think alot of us (Humanity) spends much of our time being disappointed about life. But he Truth is, what you live is your life. Your worries, your anticipating, your fear, your love, your disappointments. Those are the things that we learn from and make our choices out of.
Saying all that, I had a great Christmas, I had anticipated less than what actually happened, so that was a plus for me! I got some cool stuff, but more importantly I spent a couple days with Cathy's family. http://ethanthekiwi.blogspot.com/ See them here. :) We had fun, we watched Mr Bean's Holiday, I love that guy! and James and I played some Call of Duty 4, and then a bunch of us played Settler's of Catan. In which Ethan won.... he's a tough cookie to beat...
So today is pre-New Year's Day. The day when most people plan huge parties and drink the night away. I plan on having some friends over to play Call of Duty 4, and Halo 3 and GH3, and hopefully be in bed by 1am... I gotta work tmro... Anyways....
So that's my post for today. I got alot of work to get done...

Ha! Day two of blogging...
So today is our Office Christmas Party for which we are playing Axis and Allies. To decide who plays who in the game, we choose at random. I chose America, Jared chose Russia, Ethan chose Japan, Jason chose the UK, which leaves my Jewish Friend Huan as Germany.... Ethan and I switched because Ethan didn't want to be on the losing side of the game, and I agreed, choosing the uphill battle. Oddly enough Huan didn't mind being the Germans...
My wife and I decided we were going to get a cat, a kitten to be a little more precise, but we haven't been having good luck in this ordeal so far... I called three pet stores in Quincy, and they were closed... the Humane shelter had no kittens, and the one in Kirksville had mini-garfields... (orange and white kittens). BUT, I say... we may have found someone with a few to spare... so hopefully tmro when my wife comes home she will find out first pet. It's actually pretty exciting. I've always liked cats, and don't really want a dog, they're too much work right now... maybe after we have a kid that can take it outside.... oh wait... pets are practice for the real not the other way around... lol....

So I've got my Paladin booming up levels... I hit 17 today, hopefully I can be 20 before the weekends is out, they just cancelled my nighshift this weekend so there goes that time to play....
Well when my wife comes home from work we're gonna watch stardust, can't wait!
laterz!!! (I hate that phrase...)

First!
Hello all you fans of me.... (translation: Hi Mom!)
So here I am starting a new blog again. It's actually been awhile since I've had one, so this will probably last awhile. Let me give a brief History of my life:
I was born,
I went to School,
I grew up,
I graduated High school,
I went to Bible College,
Graduated that, too,
Got Married,
That's that...
I've been married for almost 8 months now, and I highly recommend it to everyone that has courage, patience, and can be brutally honest when you need to be.
Christmas just passed and I spent my first year without any of my immediate family. I was a little tougher than I thought. I had Cathy's family to spend it with, but I guess it's different when you don't see the normal faces. Now I've spent Christmas in quite a few different places in my life: Las Vegas, Wisconsin, Virginia, Cabo San Lucas, Missouri; so I guess this just adds a new one to my book. I got some good stuff this year, mostly stuff I needed, the wants are in the shape of gift cards... I got a trimmer for my new chin fuzz I've been growing, and a good electric razor, because I hate shaving... Cathy got me this SWEET WWII book that has over 2500 pictures! It goes through the entire War with pictures and details, so nice! Ethan and James got me a t-shirt that detects wi-fi signals, really cool! My office buddies went together and we got characters for this anime-golf game we all play called Albatross18. Max rules!
I've also been playing World of Warcraft again. Tim Hans got me back with a Scroll of Resurrection and I couldn't pass it up anymore. So I rolled a couple toons (made two characters) my first was a gnome mage! I've played a Troll mage before so I knew the class well, but got bored after 20, so now I've been leveling a Dwarf pally! I'm really liking him. I'm going for the run-n-gun Tank that I've always wanted to be, and I like taking down multiple mobs that are higher than me. It's fun. So look up Dvergar* on the US Madoran server.
So that's been my life lately, I'll post here regularly hopefully.... I'm gonna send this to a bunch of family and friends hopefully we can all join together and create some family fun! So add me to your bookmarks and keep catching up with my life!
